Daikokuya Sandogoya-onsen definitely come back
@Ashley #11 '24 8/16 12:41
Staying at the Daikokuya lodge made for the most perfect two days of this trip. The accommodations and the hot springs were very comfortable, and the dinner was so yummy! The staffs/ owner were all extremely friendly and more than willing to help. After just half a day's hike, I could rest well and enjoy a very peaceful two days here. Regret not staying longer and not hiking more mountains this time. I'll definitely come back next time, maybe in Autumn!
Another thing is that the booking website is very convenient and foreigner-friendly. They respond quickly to any inquiries, making me feel very reassured about this mountain trip.
Thank you all.
Tsubataya traditional experience

I stayed at Tsubataya for one night. I selected this ryokan for a more traditional experience during my solo travel in Japan. The host was very welcoming and showed me around the building. It is walking distance from the Snow Monkey Park. The host gave me helpful etiquette tips for experiencing the public baths and I enjoyed my first Onsen experience. I would highly recommend this ryokan for anyone looking to go a little off the beaten path. I also had no trouble asking the booking company for tips and advice via email prior to my travel.
Amazing Food

The dinner was way beyond expectations -it had sashimi, Tonkatsu, fish, etc. Rooms were spacious, and the onsen a good way to relax after a hike.

The staff of Amakazari sanso greatly appreciate your review.
Very Typical and amazing

I really appreciated the choice, the Ryokan is simple, not luxury at all but it is really good and the rotenburo really amazing!
It is exactly like what I was looking for: not a place for tourists, we were the only foreigners and all the people have been really gentle and friendly with us.
